David serves as the managing principal of our North Carolina practice where he leads the operations in our Research Triangle Park office, sets strategy for growth and marketing pursuits and is managing principal and project manager on many of our life science projects. With 25 years of professional experience, David is able to deliver complex project types on a fast track schedule. His management skills have led to an exemplarily record of on-time and on-budget projects.

David has spoken before several international audiences on the subject of laboratory renovations and site planning for laboratories. His most recent published work was the “Impact of Siting, Landscaping and Cladding/Roof Choices on Building Energy Efficiency” for the Laboratory Design Handbook. David also recently collaborated with several colleagues at Perkins+Will as a contributor on the second edition of Building Type Basics for Research Laboratories just published by John Wiley and Sons, Inc.

Outside of his work with the firm, David is a two-term past member of the Board of Directors for International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE) and is a passionate restorer of older cars.
