As Chief Financial Officer, Joe is responsible for the financial management of the firm by providing financial leadership throughout the organization, communicating with the firm's stakeholders and building a high-performance financial team. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lewis University and received his MBA from Loyola University. He has more than 30 years of experience with 20 years in the architecture profession. His experience includes initial public offerings, SEC filings, mergers and acquisitions, business start-ups, financial turnarounds and international operations. He is well known for his expertise in the development and implementation of financial and operational systems. Joe is passionate about teaching finance concepts to nonfinancial personnel and designing financial and management solutions that allow design professionals to achieve excellence.

In addition, he is a frequent lecturer at various architecture and engineering conferences. Joe is an active member of the AIA CFO Large Firm Roundtable, Financial Executives Institute, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants.
