Dubai International Airport Concourse 3

We are a subconsultant to Dar Al-Handasah Consultants (Shair and partners) for the exterior and interior architecture and signage for the new 5.7 million square foot Concourse 3 at Dubai International Airport. All of the 20 contact gates are able to accommodate the double-decker A380-800 super-jumbo aircraft.

The new Concourse 3 provides 15,000 square meters of commercial and retail space accessible from the departure level. The four and five-star hotels are located at the upper level in the center of the concourse, with the First and Business Class lounges on two separate lower levels. Designed to allow passengers to use two-level bridges for direct boarding and deplaning, both of these levels provide views overlooking the departure level below as well as natural light and airside views through towering arch-shaped windows.
