We developed a new product demonstration, conferencing and office space featuring the Haworth Sustainability Learning Center. This facility educates visitors about design and construction of flexible, adaptable and "green" interiors, while showcasing Haworth's sustainable design and manufacturing commitment.

We designed a showroom and learning center focused on the environmental benefits of wood products and modular interiors. The Learning Center, built primarily from Haworth modular walls, features four key spaces: the Refresh and Wood Salon; the Sustainable Construction Lab; the Modular Planning Lab; and the Multi-Communications Room, a state-of-the-art meeting space with smart boards, video-conferencing and flexible seating that promotes the advantages of Haworth's sustainable product line. Among the showroom's sustainable features are a 2-story wood wall of white oak reclaimed from the waters of the Great Lakes submerged since the 1800s. Other details include locally sourced materials, air delivery via a raised floor system with individual control at each work area and "harvested" daylight.
