Modern Healthcare/AIA Design Awards
We designed, in association with Steffian Bradley Associates, the interior architecture and fit-out of Massachusetts General Hospital's new 370,000 square foot ambulatory care building. The client sought a design style that is patient-friendly, straightforward and appropriate for an urban academic medical center. In order to better serve an increasing patient flow and to provide healthcare that is technologically advanced well into the 21st Century, the hospital replaced, reorganized and expanded much of its ambulatory care services. The facility is efficient and comfortable serving 600,000 patients annually.
A majority of the interior space is allocated to cancer care, women's & children's health, cardiology, radiology central services, procedure rooms, office space and building amenities.
