The Miami Anatomical Research Center is one of the largest surgical training and education centers in the United States. It was designed to adjust to the ever-changing technology and vital need for advanced skill development. Through the use of the DaVinci® surgical system, surgeons are able to offer a minimally invasive option for complex surgical procedures. State-of-the-art robotic and computer technologies scale, filter and seamlessly translate a surgeon's hand movements into precise micro-movements of the DaVinci instruments.
Physicians and surgeons from all over the world can register for advanced skills development of this new technology in one-day sessions at the center located in Miami, Florida. The 100-seat digital conference center with high-resolution broadcast video and simultaneous translation capabilities offers medical professionals detailed instruction on the latest advances of the technology. The center also offers 40 three-chip Bioskill video stations to accommodate both large and small groups where they obtain hands-on experience and training. Breakout spaces with a fully equipped kitchen and smaller conferencing areas are located adjacent to the auditorium encompassing a full-feature training facility.
