Mullin TGB, the nation's largest independent provider of executive benefit services, relocated their service center headquarters to El Segundo, California from their original Century City office. Mullin TGB now occupies a 50,000-square foot, two-story space. The Perkins+Will interior design team faced the challenge of turning the new space, which is smaller than their previous location, into an inviting workplace which can easily accommodate business growth.
The design team turned this high density space, which houses 300 employees, into an attractive workplace through the use of color. A complex palette of subtle, neutral hues created a rich, sophisticated atmosphere in which the textures and patterns of the carpets worked together in harmony. The office addresses Mullin TBG’s goal of bringing together staff in one collaborative place that reinforces the organization's vibrant brand identity and provides a backdrop for the firm’s modern art collection. The use of these elements in combination with a revitalized infrastructure helps to instill a thoughtful and vibrant tone in the new office environment.
