The founders of the Perspectives Charter School coined the motto "A Disciplined Life" to communicate their mission for an ideal school environment. Our design of their facility integrates the philosophy of the disciplined life with their educational program and the larger Chicago community. The striking angular exterior compliments the larger urban landscape while interior colors, symbolism and verbiage embrace the school's culture.
The building is a monument to the culture created by the hard work, vision and dedication of the school's students, parents, teachers and administrators. Its active and open corridors enhance the interaction and socialization at the heart of the Perspectives' culture. Small group spaces and breakout areas allow for a variety of uses and interactions in and outside of the class environment.
