Sited in the new development district of Al-Abdali in Amman, Jordan, this mixed-use development includes a 6-story podium of office space that serves as a new headquarters for the developer and also includes a 30-story tower housing a 5-star hotel and branded luxury residences.
The inspiration for the building form comes from the sandstone canyon lands of Southern Jordan, carved by Wadi (rivers) over tens of thousands of years. On the property, major entrance canyons and vertical circulation paths are revealed to the exterior as fissures in the buildings' locally-sourced rock faces. Daylight enters through these fissures deep into the buildings’ public spaces. At night, the light emanates through the dramatic cracks to broadcast these thresholds to the surrounding buildings and establish an iconic presence on the skyline.
The property's common amenities include two restaurants, a bar, a business center, a swimming pool, a spa and fitness club. These amentities are located atop the podium roof to take full advantage of sun and the outdoors.
