South View Middle School additions provide new and larger venues to enhance students' experiences and engage community events. The new 600-seat Proscenium Theater has sophisticated technical systems. The new gymnasium houses two competition courts with seating for 1,100 people. The new natatorium accommodates high school competitions with a dedicated diving well, 8-lane pool and fixed seating for 365 spectators. Entries into the large performance venues are complemented by expansive windows that frame views of activity. These lobbies offer pickup and drop-off areas for students and easy after-hour access to events from the new parking lot. A new pedestrian path pulls the campus buildings and parking lots together, activating the interior of the campus.
