The Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute at Texas Children's is the first comprehensive pediatric neurological research center in the world devoted to collaborative, unified efforts to understand the child's brain structure, development patterns and related diseases. It is housed in a new high-rise research laboratory located in the heart of the Texas Medical Center and represents a groundbreaking effort that combines clinical, educational and research programs. The tower consists of five levels dedicated to research, two levels of vivarium and the remaining levels house researchers from MD Anderson Cancer Research and Baylor College of Medicine. Common amenities include a health club, skywalks, meeting facilities and collaboration zones that interconnect the various research floors.
